Meet Emily Starnes, our Senior Marketing Coordinator at Plow Networks. Emily joined the Plow Networks team as a Video Content Creator in January 2021 and became a full-time Marketing Coordinator in November of that year.
When she started, Emily was studying to earn an MBA in Marketing at Lipscomb University. Looking for a job that provided her with more creative opportunities, especially related to producing video content, Emily found Plow Networks to be the perfect fit.
A typical day for Emily starts with a group call with the Marketing team to go over daily priorities. Emily’s daily priorities are frequently centered around working on creative projects, such as filming and editing videos, collaborating with the team to find new ways to market our products and services, and creating digital content to share with the sales team.
Her favorite part about working at Plow Networks is the other employees. Emily shares, “I moved to Nashville to get my Master’s during the pandemic knowing no one, and it was nice to be welcomed to a company that treats everyone like family, even the interns.”
Over the next few months, Emily is excited to continue working on new video projects that attract potential clients to our website. With the addition of another team member this summer, Emily looks forward to collaborating on these projects to create unique and memorable content.
While marketing tends to be more of a behind-the-scenes job, Emily’s work helps better illustrate what Plow Networks does and how it can help other businesses so they can spend more time focusing on their operations and less on the complex world of IT. She understands that IT can be complicated and confusing, so she seeks to explain concepts in a way that people with varying levels of IT knowledge can understand. Once a prospect becomes a client, she continues generating industry-relevant content to educate them on how IT can contribute to the success of their business.
