Meet Van Richardson
Meet Van Richardson, our IT Asset Manager. He started with the company in July of 2022 and was first inspired to work for Plow Networks because of the Asset Management position that was open at the time. Before joining the Plow Networks team, Van managed inventory for a local repair shop, so he felt that asset management was a natural progression for his career.
A typical day for Van revolves around tracking any shipments that are incoming or outgoing from the office. He is also responsible for new hire ticket requests and ensuring all equipment is configured correctly. On top of these tasks, Van oversees inventory, billing, and office supplies. He checks that inventory is categorized and itemized correctly, that billing is always updated for the accounts receivable department, and that the office is stocked with the best snacks.
Why Plow Networks?
Van touts Plow Networks as a great place to work because of the people and flexibility of his role. Early on, he was excited to join Plow Networks after seeing the company was awarded Nashville’s Best Places to Work award in 2022 by the Nashville Business Journal. He has worked here for over a year and continues to speak highly of the supportive company culture that is demonstrated daily.
Recently, Van has completed several large projects and is excited for the coming months. Though humble about his work, Van helps ensure that everything is running smoothly. Keeping systems in order ensures that clients never worry about their equipment or operations. He says he knows he’s doing his job well when no one says anything because this means everything is working as it should.
We appreciate Van and the hard work he contributes to the Plow Networks team every day.
