Meet John Powers, our NOC Coordinator at Plow Networks. John is one of our longest-standing employees, having joined our team in March 2016! He previously worked in a help desk role at a credit union but wanted to move to an IT company to grow his skillset.
John coordinates with the NOC analysts to ensure the efficient completion of new site installs and projects. He also communicates with clients to keep updated documentation and check in on the status of their network projects. One reason that John is a critical asset to our team is his ability to share information between departments effectively. He ensures that tasks are directed to the right employees and processes are implemented to facilitate communication throughout the company.
Working at Plow Networks has been a great experience for John because it has allowed him to grow his skillset and enjoy a more flexible work/life balance. He also praises the company culture and team dynamics: “We really do have some awesome, smart people that work here.”
In the coming months, John looks forward to implementing a FortiGate solution for a large client, which he believes will greatly improve their current setup. He feels most rewarded when deadlines are met, changes are completed successfully, and clients are happy.
