Welcome to the Plow Networks Product Update for TenantDetective™ for the 3rd quarter of 2024!

Over the past three months, we’ve been hard at work implementing changes based on your valuable feedback. This quarter, we’ve focused on enhancing features that improve collaborative optimization with our team, rather than expanding self-service options. We’ve found that many of you prefer a hands-on approach with our experts during the TenantDetective™ analytics process, so our recent updates reflect this preference.

Here’s a summary of what’s new:

Enhanced Scenario Generator

We’re thrilled to announce significant refinements to our Scenario Generator. The updated feature now allows for dynamic modeling of the cost impacts associated with organization-wide requirements, such as the integration of Intune or Defender for Endpoint. This enhancement provides a clearer view of the financial implications when adding or adjusting capabilities within your Microsoft 365 stack. Whether assessing renewal costs or making mid-term changes, this tool is designed to help you make more informed decisions.

Introduction of Standards Capability

We’ve also launched the initial version of our Standards capability. This new feature enables organizations to set a maximum number of “standard” subscription types for the optimization process. By doing so, the optimization engine will group users into the defined standards, facilitating simpler license management and strategic cost-saving decisions. This feature strikes a balance between reducing the number of recommended subscriptions and achieving usage-based cost savings.

UI and Performance Enhancements

In addition to the major updates, we’ve made several smaller improvements to enhance the overall user experience. This includes a cleaner UI and optimizations that boost the speed of the optimization engine, ensuring a more efficient and seamless experience.
