Microsoft 365 Price and Product Updates: What You Need to Know

As part of our ongoing commitment to streamline Microsoft 365 offerings and pricing, we have important updates regarding product availability and pricing changes that will take effect over the coming months. Below are key details you need to be aware of:

  1. Removal of Microsoft Teams from Enterprise SKUs – October 1, 2024

Starting October 1, 2024, the following Microsoft 365 and Office 365 Enterprise SKUs will no longer include Teams and will be end-of-sale (EOS) under Microsoft’s policy:

  • Microsoft 365 E3/E5
  • Office 365 E1/E3/E5

These SKUs will no longer be available for new purchases through CSP. Organizations with upcoming renewals for affected SKUs should either:

  • Enable auto-renewal to avoid service disruption.
  • Schedule necessary changes to their subscriptions before the renewal date to ensure continuity.
  1. Pricing Changes for Annual Subscription Plans – April 1, 2025

Starting April 1, 2025, Microsoft will implement a 5% price increase for all new and renewing monthly billing plans for annual subscriptions. This adjustment will apply across all Microsoft 365 and Office 365 products with per-user monthly billing for annual subscriptions.

  • New and renewing customers: Expect a 5% higher rate on monthly billing plans for annual subscriptions compared to the annual billing option.

This change is part of a broader effort to standardize pricing and billing structures across multiple sales channels, including Buy Online, CSP, and MCA-E.
